Day – Thursday on the mat
On the mat:
Fighting with kit and equipment.
Firearms retention drills and skills.
Edge weapons defences and counters.
Medical theory and hands-on application to address massive bleeds, airway obstruction and shock –
(Care under fire – active counter measures to assist with preserving life).
Location:  379 Danforth Ave. Westboro (TBC).  Location subject to change and will be conducted in the Ottawa area.
Date: Thursday 24 August, 2023.
Time: 10am to 4pm.

Day -2 – Friday on the range
On the range:
Learning to fight in and around vehicles.
Subject extraction techniques.
Long gun management and pistol transitions while shooting within the vehicle and through vehicle materials.
Ballistic effects / bullet travel deviations considerations and effects.
Team fighting concepts with brake-contact drills and effective movement to and from cover.
Location: Eastern Ontario Shooting Club (Private Training Area) – 4570 Drouin Rd. Clarence – Rockland.
Approximately 30 mins east from downtown Ottawa.
Date: Friday, 25 August, 2023
Time: 10am to 4pm.

Participants will require:
Full tactical equipment – body armour, pistol and carbine rifle, kevlar helmet, gloves, eye / ear protection, gun belt, 3 pistol magazines, 3 carbine magazines, long gun sling.
Fuel / hydration / sustenance.  Duty pants / gun belt for on the mat.  Mouthpiece / Jock / Wrestling boots for on the mat.
*On the mat; training barefoot is fine.  To help protect your feet, wearing wrestling boots are more optimal.

Minimum round count:
700 rounds  long gun * frangible / ball ammunition only.
300 pistol rounds  * frangible / ball ammunition only.

DA will provide:
Range venue, range kit and targets, derelict vehicles, TR2 tactical respirator.
Mat space, training aids and protective equipments as necessary.

Minimum of 6, maximum of 12 participants.
