WHO – General Patrol Police Officers (Municipal / Provincial / Federal).
WHAT – Pistol firearms training.
WHERE – Eastern Ontario Shooting Club (Private side of range facility) – 4570 Drouin Rd. Clarence-Rockland, On. K0A 4K7.
WHEN – Friday 27 June, 2025. 9am to 4pm.
WHY – To build confidence and understanding with respect to operation in and around vehicles.
TOPICS COVERED
Pistol skill development,
Pistol fundamentals,
Speed & accuracy enhancement,
Ballistic effects / vehicle material(s) considerations,
Subject extraction methods,
Communication & Vehicle approach manoeuvres, and
Actions on use of hard cover Vs. visual barriers.
PARTICIPANTS WIILL REQUIRE
Duty belt and pistol,
Minimum of 3 magazines,
Eye & Ear protection,
Duty pants & Long sleeve shirt,
Light pair of shooting gloves,
Bug repellent & Sunscreen,
Water / Fuel as required,
Minimum round count:
600 rounds live (Ball or Frangible ammunition),
DA WILL PROVIDE
Range / Training aids as required,
Derelict vehicles,
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required,
Lunch,
Certificate upon completion.
