0900 to 1630.

East Grey Hunter’s and Anglers Association – 138308,
9th Line Meaford, ON., N4L 1W5.
On the range:
Pistol and Carbine rifle training.
Fundamentals.  Drills and Skills designed to enhance speed and accuracy.
CEW to pistol transitions. Long gun to pistol transitions. Barricade shooting.
Off-shoulder shooting. Various distance / target transitions. Shooting on the move.
Designed stages to encourage friendly competition.

Tuesday 13 May, 2025.
Time:
0900 to 1530.
Location:
Blue Mountain Conference Hall (Exact room TBD).
On the mat:
DT fundamentals. Edge weapons defenses.  Subject control measures involving single officer and 2-officer apprehension methods. Clinch and grappling work. Team challenges to encourage friendly competition.  CEW to pistol to hands-on subject control transitions.

Maximum of 20 participants / 2-day training course.
Registration on the OTAB website (tbc).

Participants will require:
Fully operational kit & equipment. Pistol & carbine rifle.  Minimum of 3 magazines / firearms platform.  Rifle sling. Eye & ear protection / range kit. Baseball cap, sunscreen, bug repellant, water / food / fuel as required.
DT (Tuesday): Duty belt & UoF kit, Duty pants and T-shirt, soft body armor, mouthpiece, eye protection.  Simunition pistols for the DT portion of training.

Minimum ammunition count/ participant:
Carbine – 700 rounds live (Frangible preferred or Ball ammunition).
Pistol – 500 rounds live (Frangible preferred or Ball ammunition).

Optional kit & equipment:
Wrestling boots for on the mat. Cup / jock and a mouthpiece.
