DA Level 1 Certification program

Combative Self- Defence and Firearms Training.

Level 1 Certificate:

Pistol fundamentals = Stance, Grip, Alignment, Trigger manipulation, Follow-through, Working from a holster, Draw stroke, Malfunctions and Self-diagnostics.

Self-Defence = Accountability of actions, Situational awarenss, Stance, Position, Distance, Movement, Open palm strikes Vs. Closed fists, Blocks and counters, Pistol disarm techniques, Controlled sparring drills and Environmental understanding.

TIME/LOCATION(S):
0830 to 3:30pm 23 August  – 379 Danforth Ave., Ottawa – DA training facility.
0830 to 3:30pm 24 August – 7265 Fernbank Rd., Stittsville Shooting Ranges.

PARTICIPANT REQUIRMENTS:
Pistol/gun belt
Minimum 3 magazines/magazine pouches
Minimum round count – 450 rounds
Range kit (eye protection and hearing protection)
Mouth piece/jock
Boxing gloves and shin pads

Direct Action will provide striking pads/protective equipment and all necessary training aides and range specific requirements.  Gloves/shin pads can be provided.
*A detailed general instruction will be issued.
$150 deposit via E-transfer is required to secure your spot.
*Pistol rental and ammunition available upon request.

FEE:
$425/person. Taxes included.
* Pistol/Holster – $50.
* Ammunition – $175.
