Use and defences to edge weapons encounters.
This 5-hour seminar is designed to provide knowledge, awareness and skills
to assist with facing the dangers of an armed assailant motivated to inflict harm with a knife.

Topics to cover;

• Psychology of a physical altercation,
• Situational awareness and active scanning,
• Legalities of blade carriage in Canada,
• Blade selection and use,
• Deployment and activation,
• Defence to spontaneous knife attacks,
• Distance, position and movement principles,
• Clinch and Grappling concepts and options,
• Ground to feet recovery,
• First aid – Major bleeds,
• Accountability of actions.

Location – DA training facility – 379 Danforth Ave. Westboro, On
Date – Saturday 25 May, 2024.
Time – 10am – 3pm.
What to bring – Comfortable athletic attire, lightweight pants, t-shirt, water bottle, notepad, pen.
Optional / Recommended – Mouthpiece, jock / cup, training blade of your choice.
