This training event is specifically designed for the front line officer.

2-day training package to promote tactical shooting, movement and drills encouraging decision-making development.

Day 1 – Monday 27, September 2021.
0900 to 1530
Stittsville Shooting Ranges – 7265 Fernbank Rd., Stittsville.

Tactical pistol and carbine drills and movement.  Focus on shooting on the move, response to spontaneous attacks (edged weapons/firearms), management of distance and position, malfunction drills and transitioning between firearms.

Officers will require the following;
– Duty gear, duty belt, pistol + 3 magazines.  Eye & Ear protection.
– Minimum 500 rounds carbine rifle ammunition (.223/5.56mm).
– Minimum 700 rounds pistol ammunition.
– Range kit (I.e., shooting gloves, sunscreen, water, firearms cleaning kit/tools).
** If required, DA will provide carbine rifle(s) for your training.

Day 2 – Tuesday 28, September 2021.
0900-1530
11 Shirley Blvd. Building #11, Nepean ON – RCMP Training Centre at Connaught Shooting Ranges.

CQC movement, entries, concepts and options to deal with active resistance, firearm retention drills and options, hooded box drills (also known as flash scenarios) incorporating spontaneous attacks (edged weapons/firearms) in a confined space capacity.

Officers will require the following;
– Duty gear, duty belt, pistol + 3 magazines.
– Eye & Ear protection.
– Range kit (I.e., shooting gloves, water, firearms cleaning kit/tools).
** DA will provide carbine rifles, Simunition conversion kits, Non-lethal marking 9mm / 5.56mm ammunition.

** Targets and range specific requirements will be provided by Direct Action.

Fees:
$699 tax included / officer.
Limited to 6 officers.

Additional fees:
$75 Carbine rifle rental.
$225 Carbine rifle ammunition.
